We've all known he would be on this list. The only questions would be how high on the list would he be.
Last night we got our answer. His fellow players have voted RGIII as the 15th best player in the NFL.
Griffin III had about as productive a rookie season as any other rookie in recent memory. From Week 1, RGIII dazzled fans around the league with his game-breaking speed, rifle arm and impeccable decision-making. Griffin III and the 'read-option offense' appeared nearly unstoppable at times keeping defenses off balance for the majority of the season. RGIII finished '12 throwing for 3,200, adding another 815 on the ground and accounting for 27 touchdowns.
The former Heisman Trophy recipient won Pepsi Rookie of the Week seven times, NFC Player of the week twice, was voted to the Pro Bowl and was named AP Rookie of the Year while leading the Skins to a 10-6 record and their first division title in over a decade.
RGIII is the fourth and final Redskin to be selected to the NFL's Top 100 Players list (Trent Williams came in at No. 99, London Fletcher was number No. 86, and Alfred Morris was No. 64.) He is the highest a rookie has ever been voted in the three year history of this annual list.
